A tree commemorates the 10th anniversary of the Perth - Kagoshima sister city relationship in 1985. The tree was removed due to disease and a new tree was planted nearby in 2010.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of rhe Sister City Relationship with the City of Perth

A tree was planted on this site by the Mayor of the City of Kagoshima, Japan during his visit to Perth in 1985 to acknowledge the sister-city relationship between Perth and Kagoshima.
The tree was removed due to disease and a new tree was planted nearby in June 2010.
