Dear Monument Australia visitors, we are a self-funded, non-profit organisation, dedicated to recording monuments throughout Australia. Over time the costs of maintaining this website have risen substantially. In the past we have borne all the costs associated with maintaining the website but we are now having difficulties in paying the monthly expenses.
If Monument Australia is useful to you, please make a donation to keep this historical and educational resource available. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Selflessly giving up their time...
On 12 January 2014 our community faced a devastating fire in extreme conditions. A total of 57 homes by the Parkerville, Stoneville and Mount Helena bushfire. 350 properties were damaged and 386 hectares were burnt. Through the tireless efforts of many, hundreds of homes were saved.
To celebrate the community's resilience and journey towards recovery, an art piece has been installed each impacted suburb to represent their spirit.
