A garden was developed to commemorate 100 years of Rotary.

The history of Rotary began in Chicago Illinois in 1905, with Paul Harris, a young lawyer from Vermont developing the group with the motto " service above self ". This motto has served Rotary for 100 years, and people from all walks of life have benefited from the contributions that Rotary has made to their lives. Rotary organisations now operate in 166 countries world wide.
