The garden commemorates 40 years of service to Dalby by the Lions Club from 1959 to 1999.

Originally a water feature, Lions Lagoon has been replaced by a garden.

This water feature is a jointly funded project of the Dalby Lions Club, the Dalby Town Council and the Queensland Government.

The contribution made by the Dalby Lions Club and the Lions Ladies Auxiliary is a gift to the people of Dalby commemorating 40 years of service to the Dalby community.
