Source: MA,SKP, QWMRThis tablet was erected by the St. Stephen`s congregation to perpetuate the memory of the men connected with this Church who volunteered for service in the Second World War 1939 - 1945, and paid the supreme sacrifice for the ideals of freedom handed down to us from our fathers.

Their bodies are buried in peace ; but their name liveth for evermore.
The people will tell of their wisdom, and the congregation will shew forth their praise. Ecclesiasticus 44. 14-15.
