Memorial
Dedicated on 22nd June 1990, the 50th jubilee of the formation of the Army Air Corps (Paratroops) within the Commonwealth Countries on 22nd June 1940 and in remembrance of all who gave their lives serving their countries.
We are noted for being at once adventurous in action & most reflective before hand. Other men are bold in ignorance while reflection will stop their onset, but the bravest are surely those who have the clearest vision of what is before them, glory and danger alike, and yet not withstanding go out to meet it.
