Lakes Creek War MemorialPrint Page
The War Memorial was erected by the Australian Manufacturing Industries Employees Union (AMIEU) members of the Slaughtering and Casing Department, Lakes Creek Meat Works and commemorates those from the Meat Works who served in World War Two. Tributes are also on the monument to Prime Minister John Curtin and General Douglas Macarthur.
