Owens & Beatrice Creeks Roll of HonourPrint Page Print this page

The wooden honour roll commemorates 41 service personnel who served in World War Two.

It once hung with a picture of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in the old dance hall at Owens Creek, near to Llew Harris's residence. Llew Harris transferred it to the Gargett Hotel in the 1990s for better security as the hall was becoming dilapidated.
