Yinnar & District Memorial Hall Print Page
The Memorial Hall was erected to commemorate those from the district who served in World War Two.
At the annual meeting of the hall held last Thursday, keen interest was shown by the large attendance. Delegates were present from all public bodies in the district. After the usual business of the annual meeting was attended to the retiring committee, through their president and secretary, brought under the meeting's notice that the time had arrived when it was either necessary to make considerable repairs to our present hall or to consider the building of a new hall. After much discussion it was unanimously moved that funds be raised for the purpose of building a hall in keeping with the district. This hall will be called the Yinnar Memorial Hall.
