Source: MA,PSIn memory of the men and women of North Queensland who served and made the supreme sacrifice, who served and returned but subsequently succumbed to the trials of their experience, and to commemorate all those who served and returned safely from the Second World War of 1939 - 1945.
This plaque was unveiled by David J, Tiernan, District President, North Queensland District of the Returned and Services League, and dedicated by the Right Reverend H. J. Lewis, SSM, AM, BD, ThL, Bishop of North Queensland, on Remembrance Day 11th November 1992.
