Three stained glass windows, "The Holy Family, Crucifixion and Resurrection" commemorate those who served in World War Two.  They show a soldier leaving his wife and child, his death in battle and his victory over death.

The windows were originally installed in St Luke's Church in Brighton.  St. Luke's was closed in 1991 and the building converted into apartments. The windows were gifted to the newly built church of the same name at Carrum Downs in 1992.

An unusual war memorial window will be dedicated by the Bishop of Geelong (Rt. Rev. J. D. McKie) at St. Luke's, Brighton, tomorrow at 10 a.m. For this window the artist, Mr. Jack Ferguson, was asked to use the result of contemporary art experiment to deal with a contemporary subject or problem in the light of the eternal truths involved. He was given three subjects for study, and was asked to design the three sections of the window in a form calculated to help worshippers in the church to find their way through present turmoil.  The psychological approach to the memorial has been set out in a brochure by the vicar (Rev. W. Johnson). Briefly, the sections represent a soldier taking leave of his family; the man, killed in a bomb explosion reaches up in death and finds the Cross of Christ; his rising spirit is represented in a bodily form transfigured with a beauty beyond mortal life.
