The monument also includes a military crest display, bollards, lighting and a native plant garden. The memorial is part of the redevelopment of the Campbelltown War Memorial Oval.

This World War II Monument was opened on Sunday 16 August 2015 by Rear Admiral the Honourable Kevin Scarce AC CSC RAN (Rtd).
This monument is dedicated to the people of Campbelltown City Council who served with our forces or lost loved ones in World War II.
