Maleny RSL HallPrint Page
The hall commemorates those from Maleny, Conondale and Districts who died in service or were killed in action in World War One and World War Two.
Gala night was the ball to mark the opening of the Maleny Soldiers Memorial Hall from which door takings totalled £100. The building, a former R.A.A.F hall at Maryborough was purchased from the Disposals Commission, dismantled by voluntary labour and re-erected under contract. The present site was donated by Mr. W. H. R. Burnett. Money for the purchase and re-erections was obtained by public functions and subscriptions.
