The cenotaph commemorates men and women of Forth & Kindred District who served their country in time of war.
It is an upright metal sheet with cutout figures of sailor, soldier and airman. In sits on a raised platform faced with brick pavers and edged by garden beds. In front of it, are concrete posts with plaques on each pillar holding a steel gate and on the east side is a flagpole.
