The wooden honour roll commemorates those from the district who served in World Wars One and Two.
ELLENDALE.-A successful dance was held in the hall on Saturday night. During an interval Mr. P. Barwick unveiled the honour board, which is of blackwood with a rising sun at the top. The names of the First World War men are inscribed in the first column. In the middle are the names of the fallen in the First World War, while in the last column appear the names of the men who served in the Second World War. Mr. Bethune, M.H.A., presented the 6th War Loan pennant to Mr. Walter Tomlin. Mrs. J. C. Bentley was secretary for the Honour Board fund. Takings at the door were £12/13/.
