The honour roll commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action in World Wars One and Two.

On the 12th April 1949, a committee comprising representatives of the Wagin Municipal Council, The Road Board and the local branch of the RSL met to discuss the provison of an honour board bearing the names of the town's fallen in World War One and World War Two to be placed in the foyer of the Town Hall. Sufficient funds were collected by September 1949.
