Stansbury War MemorialPrint Page
The War Memorial was erected to honour those from the District who served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
In February 2019, it was upgraded to include a limestone wall and two bronze plaques listing all those from the district who served in World War One and World War Two. These new plaques now mark the entrance of the Stansbury War Memorial. Funding for the plaques was received in 2018 through the Armistice Centenary Grants Program.
