Healesville Primary School Memorial Gates commemorate former pupils who served and lost their lives in both World Wars.
The memorial gates donated to the State School by Healesville R.S.L., in memory of former pupils who served and lost their lives in both world wars, will be officially dedicated at an historic ceremony at the school on Ernpire Day (May 24). Present will be the Hon. W. S. Kent-Hughes, M.L.A. representing the Minister for Public Instruction (Mr. R.W. Torrell) the Director of Education (Mr. A. Ramsay), Mr. Archer (School Inspector), district parliamentarians and others. Scholars will have a large part in the ceremony, a guard of honor being formed by those who lost their fathers in war service.
