The monument commemorates those who have died in service or were killed in action in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
A metal arched gateway leads to a small white concrete obelisk on concrete platform which inscribed with ode. In 2014 a grant was received to upgrade the memorial with a brick wall surround.
