St Marys RSL War MemorialPrint Page
The memorial commemorates those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The memorial was originally unveiled in 1982, and upgraded in 2016. The entire memorial area was raised and significant embedded lighting installed to clearly and separately illuminate both the Catafalque Party members and the memorial stone. The approach also had been paved with an ‘eternal flame’ stencilled in the concrete. Nearby are three guns on carriages, with each gun pointing out in a different direction.
