Queanbeyan & District Honour RollPrint Page 
The honour roll commemorates those from the district who have served in World War Two and later conflicts. It consists of two brick walls set at 45° angles on which are sloping stone slabs carrying plaques with names.
Queanbeyan resident Mr Laurie Davis, who served with the AIF during World War Two, noted during a tour of western New South Wales that many of the towns he visited had their own honour rolls. This led to the formation in 1998 of a committee of Queanbeyan ex-servicemen to establish a Queanbeyan and District Honour Roll. They were assisted by a grant of $3,000 from the Commonwealth Government under the "Their Service Our Heritage" program.
Note: A separate plinth containing plaques commemorating World War Two is situated in front of the Honour Roll. This is listed by Monument Australia as a separate entry.
