The mosaic murals commemorate those who have served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved.
The artwork is a long term project and commenced in 2009 with a banner titled "We Will Remember Them." In 2018 a further three murals were commisioned to commemorate Matron Grace Wilson, a World War One nurse, Sister Vivian Bullwinkel who served in World War Two and Gundjitmara Warriors in memory of indigenous soldiers who have served in all wars. On the 23rd April 2021, 3 Vietnam mosaics were unveiled to commemorate all those who served in the Vietnam War.

Gundjitmara Warriors, Indigenous Soldiers Who Have Served In All Australia`s Wars
These Mosaics Were Created In Collaboration With The Gundjitmara Community Of Victoria`s Western District. Over 100 School Students From St Pius Primary School And Our Lady Of Mercy College Were Actively Involved In The Process.
Throughout 2019-2020 Three Vietnam Mosaic Banners Were Developed In Consultation With Vietnam Veterans And Encompass Nurses, Conscripts, Army, Navy And Air Force. Veterans Of The Repat Hospital Community Helped Create The Works On Site
