After World War Two, Trees Were Planted
In The Main Street Of Carrieton To Acknowledge
The Service Of Locals Who Had Enlisted.
Each Tree Had A Brass Plaque With A Servicemans Name On It.
Once The Trees Had Grown, The Plaques
Were Removed And Some Of Those Were Found Recently.
The Committee Agreed To Affix These
To This Memorial For Posterity Purposes.
