The monument and avenue of pine trees commemorates the men and women of the Mantung, Mercunda and Maggea Districts who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved and commemorates 100 years of ANZAC.

This memorial and avenue of pine trees is dedicated to all those men and women of the Mantung, Mercunda and Maggea districts who have served and fought for their country, some of whom made the ultimate sacrifice.

Unveiled by Councillor Darren Zadow as a representative of the Karoonda / East Murray District Council on behalf of Mayor Kevin Burdett, on the 25th April 2015.
