These photographs are of Norfolk
Island service personnel, or service
personnel who have, over the years had
particular strong associations with
Norfolk Island, usually settling and
living in Norfolk Island.
Quite a number of servicemen married
into the Norfolk Island community
whilst serving during wartime.
Sadly, as service personnel pass away,
the collection will need to be added to.
However, as long as the memorial hall
contains this gallery, and the stories
and anecdotes of their time continue to
refresh and recall their names and faces
to us, the memories of Norfolk Islands
departed comrades, our family`s and
our friends will stay with us
