World War One & Two Service Personnel - Supreme SacrificePrint Page
06-May-2017
Photographs supplied by Arthur Garland
An Australia Remembers plaque commemorates those who died in service or were killed in action in World Wars One and Two.
The original honour roll was destroyed in a bushfire, with the only photograph from a wedding held in the hall only partially showed the names, so this brass plaque was created.
"Australia Remembers, 1945-1995" was a program of activities organised by the Federal Government to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of World War Two.
