An avenue of trees commemorates those who have served in World Wars One and Two.
The Tooradin Progress Association also requested council to approach the appropriate body to have dead trees in the Honour Avenue replaced, the name-plates repainted, and the avenue, extended throughout the township. Members of the Association were prepared to assist in the planting. —The engineer said the planting of ot her trees would depend on the construction of roads etc. On the motion of Cr. Mills he was instructed to go into the matter and report to the next meeting.
