This plaque commemorates the 240 bed RAAF Hospital which served American and Australian personnel stationed at Tocumwal Aerodrome 1942 - 1946.
Comprising 9 wards, Operating Theatre, a total of 43 buildings housed 34 doctors and nurses. Concrete foundations and water tank still remain.
Erected by Tocumwal Historic Aerodrome Museum with the assistance of Department of Veterans Affairs.
