The wooden honour roll commemorates those from the Langi - Logan District who served in World War One and World War Two.

The roll was originally unveiled to commemorate those who served in World War One with the names of those who served in World War Two being added at a later date.

A large gathering of residents assembled at the Langi Logan school on Saturday last to witness the ceremony of unveiling the Honor Board. Mr C. A. Hinchliffe, the chairman, after a few opening remarks, called upon Cr E. J. Byrne, on behalf of the residents of Langi Logan, to perform the ceremony. Cr Byrne, upon rising, expressed the pleasure he felt in carrying out such a duty for the friends of the soldiers. He noticed there were 26 names on the board, three of whom had made the supreme sacrifice. He was very pleased to see so many friends of the soldiers present to do honor to the heroes who had gone away from sunny Australia to fight for freedom and the liberty of the smaller nations— heroes of the most sterling kind. (Applause).

Over 300,000 men had gone from Australia, over half of whom would come back maimed and knocked about in other ways, and he thought it was the duty of the Government and the people of Australia to repatriate these boys when they returned home again. (Applause). Cr Byrne said he thought the way things were looking the end of the war was in sight, and he hoped so. (Applause). The speaker's remarks were supported by Messrs P. J. Carroll, H. Firman and the chairman. Cr. Byrne then unveiled the Honor Board amidst great cheering and the singing of "God Save Our Splendid Men."
