Symes Thorpe Aged Care War MemorialPrint Page 
The War Memorial, which was designed and built by staff and volunteers, commemorates Toowoomba's fallen soldiers and those who served in conflicts in which Australia has been involved. The memorial, representing the navy, army and air force features a cross, plaque and a flag pole and is surrounded by a rose garden, wattle and a Gallipoli rosemary.
Funding for the memorial was received through the Anzac Centenary Grants Program.
