The tablet was erected by the workers of the Australian Agricultural Company, in memory of James Corlette, a long time employee of the company who died in 1876.

Fellow Workers With Him
In The Service Of The Company
As A Mark Of Respect And Esteem
In Which He Was Held By Them.
