A plaque erected by the Mothers' Union and Friends commemorates Elizabeth Mary Langley, wife of the first Bishop of Bendigo, and foundress of the Mothers' Union in the diocese. Elizabeth Langley died in 1923.

THIS TABLET IS ERECTED AS A TOKEN OF LOVING ESTEEM BY MEMBERS OF THE MOTHERS' GUILD AND OTHER FRIENDS.
