Trudgian Place

This park is named after Reverend C. S. Trudgian AM. MBE. MC. (1896–1981), who worked tirelessly in the Brisbane City Mission in Fortitude Valley for 40 years.

Reverend Trudgian was honoured for his services to the community and for his valour in the First World War.

He was known as the "Good Samaritan of The Valley".

Opened by the Chairman of Recreation and Health Committee, Alderman D. B. Hinchcliffe in March 1994.
