Memorial tablet over grave dedicated to Private C McKinnon who died of pneumonia contracted during the Boer War. 

Trooper Chas. Mckinnon was a member of the Imperial Bushmen`s Corps and had returned to Australia from fighting in South Africa when he died suddenly from pneumonia  in Melbourne Hospital in July 1901.

And he is mourned by all who knew him
