A plaque commemorates Flying Officer Paul W Richardson who was killed on August 24th 1944 in Burma during World War Two.

Flying Officer Richardson and his crew were engaged in dropping supplies when their plane encountered a dense bank of cloud and crashed into a hillside. All the crew were killed.   He was serving with 194 Squadron Royal Air Force, flying a Douglas Dakota, serial number FZ644.
