A stained glass window commemorates Captain John Bell, who was killed on active service in November 1917 during World War One.  He was was serving with 2 Squadron Australian Flying Corps when his Airco DH-5, A9473, was shot down by enemy rifle fire during the Battle of Cambrai on 20 November 1917.
