A plaque commemorates Private Ian J. Thomson who was killed in action during the war in Vietnam. 

Private Ian J. Thomson was an apprentice fitter and turner when called up for National Service on February 1, 1967.  The rifleman private with 3RAR was killed by an enemy rocket propelled grenade in a Phuoc Tuy rubber plantation on October 19, 1968.
