A cross on the chapel altar commemorates James Brook, Noel Groser and Keith Murray who were members of St. John's College who were killed in World War One.
The plaque is on the west wall of the Soldiers’ Memorial Chapel, and the cross stands above the Altar in the North Transept of the Cathedral.
The cross and plaque were unveiled by the Governor of Western Australia, Sir William Campion in the Memorial Chapel of St George`s Cathedral in March 1926.
