The headstone erected by pupils and friends over the grave of Thomas Bradbury who died in 1898. He was a Headteacher of Beenleigh School for 21 years, who drowned in the Logan River.
The body of Thomas Bradbury, the well-known head teacher of the Beenleigh State School, has been found in the River Logan. How he got there is at present unknown.
