A reserve commemorates Kevin Flint's contribution to the community.
Known as "Mr Deer Park" , Mr Flint was on the committee of the Deer Park football and cricket clubs for many years, did charity work for St Vincent de Paul and the Lions Club, and attended all Brimbank Council meetings.
He was also life governor of the Deer Park Community Health Centre and helped establish the centre, the first of its type in Australia. Mr Flint died in 1995 after a battle with cancer.
