This plaque is placed in gratitude for his initiating this final tribute to R.S.L. Members.
This new flag-pole, erected in 1996, replaced the original, then situated south of the cenotaph. It was donated by Dr Greg McIntyre, and installed with a grant from Australia Remembers (1945 - 1995), in co-operation with the Kyneton R.S.L. and the family of the late Francis J. Bell
