Monument commemorates garden designer Kathleen (Kitty) Henry who was prominent in the establishment of the rose garden in the Queens Domain. Kathleen Henry, who was a contemporary of Edna Walling, and she introduced a more naturalistic style, incorporating rockeries and the use of exotic and indigenous plants into her garden design.
