Errol FlynnPrint Page
Plaque commemorates film actor Errol Flynn`s contribution to Tasmania and the motion picture industry.
Born in Tasmania, during the 1930`s and 1940`s Flynn epitomised glamour, action and romance in cinema classics such as "Captain Blood", "The Adventures of Robin Hood" and "The Sea Hawk". He was a person larger than life and his lifestyle, publicity and court appearances left him burnt out and dead at the age of 50.
