Actual Monument Dedication Date:Wednesday 27th July, 1988
Front Inscription

This plaque was unveiled by His Excellency Dr. Davis McCaughey, A.C., Governor of Victoria on July 27th, 1988 to commemorate all those people who planted trees in this area to honour the coronation of King George VI and the centenary of European settlement in the district, in particular.
