Postmans Ridge Pioneers Memorial HallPrint Page Print this page

Postmans Ridge Pioneers Memorial Hall is dedicated in memory of the early settlers of the district.

On July 20, 1863 Daniel Connole sailed into Moreton Bay aboard the "Rockliff" to begin his new life in Australia.  The land on which the Pioneers Memorial Hall stands was part of Daniel's original grant and was sold (given) to the local community for a peppercorn price.
