This plaque was erected during Tasmania Week 1977 to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the settlement of Woodbridge. On the 16th August, 1847 G, Miles, Esq, Pioneer settled, received a grant of thirteen acres of land which he named "Woodbridge" , after his birthplace in Suffolk, England
