Left Side Inscription

C. W. Weber
1839 - 1910

Christian William Weber migrated to New South Wales from Germany in 1857 and moved to Maryborough soon after where he became one of the first cane farmers in Tinana. He married Elizabeth Thurecht and they raised 12 children on their farm "Rosenberg" which was situated between here and Tinana Creek.
