A monument marks the site of the beacon lit by the Rollingstone community to commemorate 200 years celebration of the European settlement of Australia in 1988. The Bicentennial Beacons were a series of bonfires lit around Australia.

Monument characteristics :

A moulded poured concrete cairn surmounted by a painted sculptured copper flame. A copper plaque is attached (donated by Copper Refineries)
