Rat Point Camp

Situated on the edge of the plain to your front was occupied from 19 Feb to 14 Mar 1861 by the following members of the Burke and Wills Expedition : William Wright, Herman Beckler, Ludwig Becker, William Purcell, Charles Stome, William Hodgkinson, John Smith and Belooch a camel driver.

Established by members of the Army Survey Regiment Bendigo on 23 Aug 1992 during the search for the grave of William Patton.
