Tree blazed by Lindsay Crawford reflects early European settlement and development of the Victoria River region.

Crawford's Tree, blazed by Lindsay Crawford in 1883, reflects early European settlement and development of the Victoria River region of the Northern Territory in the late nineteenth century. Crawford an early manager of Victoria River Downs Station, explorer, and operator on the Overland Telegraph Line, was a significant figure in the Territory at the time.
